Role Overview
We are seeking a Global Account Director to lead sales initiatives for Sovos products within the Financial and Insurance sectors, working from our London office. This full-time onsite position requires managing and expanding relationships with global accounts valued at over $1 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). The role involves strategizing comprehensive sales engagement plans from initial prospecting to deal closure, consistently surpassing revenue goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic sales plans targeting territory growth and opportunity identification.
- Promote and sell Sovos’ SaaS-based solutions to existing and new clients in Financial Services and Insurance verticals.
- Achieve profitable revenue growth while meeting or exceeding assigned quotas.
- Develop and maintain a balanced sales pipeline combining new business acquisition and expansion of current accounts.
- Manage extensive, complex enterprise sales cycles with a strong success rate in closing late-stage transactions.
- Maintain precise pipeline and sales data within Salesforce.com.
- Utilize AI-driven sales tools to analyze account activity, prioritize outreach, and streamline sales operations.
- Consistently demonstrate accountability and integrity in all dealings within the sales process.
- Take end-to-end ownership of client satisfaction throughout all sales phases.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate sales, specifically 5+ years serving large Financial Services organizations.
- Proven track record in closing enterprise deals valued at $250,000 or more, navigating complex sales cycles and engaging C-level executives.
- Strong expertise in prospecting, targeting, and closing sales, consistently meeting or outperforming revenue targets.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.com, alongside competency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered sales technologies for enhanced prospecting, forecasting, and client interaction.
- Willingness to travel moderately (under 50%) both domestically and internationally for client meetings and company events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.
- Self-driven, collaborative, and ambitious with a strong desire to exceed sales objectives.
- Ability to pass background checks due to client contractual requirements.
