GIS/CAD Support Specialist

Job Overview

WSP is seeking a seasoned GIS and CAD Support Specialist to become part of our Riyadh team. This role is pivotal in delivering technical assistance and ensuring efficient management of GIS and CAD systems specifically for road and infrastructure projects in collaboration with supervision consultants.

Key Duties

• Developing and upkeeping GIS and CAD datasets for infrastructure and road-related projects.
• Providing technical assistance including troubleshooting and resolving issues with GIS and CAD applications.
• Liaising with supervision consultants for seamless incorporation of GIS and CAD information into project outputs.
• Producing accurate maps, drawings, and visual materials that aid project planning and implementation.
• Maintaining data consistency and precision across all GIS and CAD platforms linked to projects.
• Generating and updating technical documentation, reports, and project archives related to GIS and CAD activities.
• Supporting and training team members on GIS and CAD applications when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 12 years of professional experience in GIS and CAD support, with a focus on road and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating with supervision consultants and handling complex project-related data.
• Strong proficiency with GIS and CAD software including, but not limited to, ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
• Exceptional problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
