Job description
Job Role and Responsibilities
As a Genetic Software Development Engineer, you will support and mentor development teams in integrating Open Code, AWS Bedrock, and agentic development methods through Spec Driven Development. You will design, implement, and continuously enhance the platform for agentic software development. Your role includes crafting and maintaining specialized AI agents adhering to corporate authoring standards, developing and providing reusable skills, templates, specifications, and best practices tailored for agile delivery organizations. You will manage technical integrations between the agent platform and both internal and external systems and services. Additionally, you will architect and implement new platform features and guarantee platform quality through extensive automated testing. Collaboration with development teams, architecture, platform teams, and the AI Competence Center will be vital for ongoing improvements in software development practices at HDI.
Candidate Profile
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Several years of hands-on experience in software development, especially in requirements engineering
- Expertise with container technologies such as Docker and OCI images, including container registries
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and proficiency with contemporary programming languages and development platforms
- Practical experience working with Open Code, AWS Bedrock, Large Language Models, agentic architectures, and Spec Driven Development methodologies
- Passion for agentic software engineering and adopting cutting-edge development approaches
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical subjects for effective team support
- Language proficiency: German at C1 level and English at B2 level
