Overview
The Generator Mechanic role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing diesel generator engines to guarantee their dependable and efficient function. This position demands practical expertise specifically with Perkins, Caterpillar, and Cummins generators, including comprehensive engine overhauls.
Key Duties
- Conduct mechanical diagnosis, inspection, and repairs on diesel generators.
- Execute both preventive and corrective maintenance on generator engines.
- Identify mechanical faults and ensure they are promptly addressed.
- Carry out engine overhauls and associated mechanical repairs.
- Inspect various engine components to confirm their proper operation.
- Keep detailed and accurate logs of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and maintenance protocols.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Hold a valid driving license issued from India or any GCC country.
Experience Requirements
- Have between 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical troubleshooting and engine overhauling of generators.
- Demonstrate practical experience with Perkins, Caterpillar, and Cummins generator brands.
- Previous exposure to working in a power rental company is considered an advantageous addition.
