General Support Specialist (Housekeeping Runner)

Position Overview

This role is integral to creating memorable and exceptional experiences for our guests by providing versatile support across various hotel departments. Responsibilities include delivering items directly to guest rooms and assisting housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, front office, and other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.

Key Duties and Physical Requirements

• Assist multiple departments by transporting items and providing support where needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Protect confidentiality and uphold high-quality standards in every task.
• Maintain professionalism in appearance, uniform, and communication.
• Be physically active, including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, navigating confined or elevated spaces, and using stairs or service ramps.
• Read and verify details from various documents and inspect tools, equipment, or machines visually.
• Handle objects weighing up to 55 pounds through lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching overhead and below the knees.

Qualifications

• Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No previous related work experience required.
• No supervision experience needed.
• No license or certification required.
