Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time General Practitioner, licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), to join our healthcare team in Dubai, UAE. This position operates onsite in a split-shift schedule. The incumbent will deliver comprehensive primary care including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of a wide array of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations and evaluate patient symptoms.
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe treatments and medications appropriately.
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation compliant with DHA guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and integrated patient care.
- Educate patients on preventive health measures.
- Engage in clinical training and ongoing professional development activities as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Solid clinical background in general medicine and primary care, capable of handling diverse patient cases.
- Experience or specialization in family medicine, emphasizing continuous and comprehensive care for all ages.
- Effective teamwork skills to coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers.
- Dedication to continuous learning and capability in mentoring junior medical staff.
- Possession of a valid DHA general practitioner license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Medical degree recognized by relevant health authorities and completed internship or residency in general or family medicine.
- Strong communication skills, patient-focused approach, and adherence to professional ethics and standards.
