The centre plans to grow its team of General and Nurse Practitioners.

Role Overview

Mantraraj Medical Centre seeks a full-time General Practitioner based on-site in the Greater Sydney area. The selected candidate will deliver comprehensive clinical care across various patient needs, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of GPs, physiotherapists, nurses, and allied health staff. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient follow-up.

Primary Duties

• Conduct thorough musculoskeletal assessments, establish diagnoses, and implement treatments based on current clinical evidence.
• Request and evaluate diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, plus pathology tests; manage complex prescriptions appropriately.
• Serve as a pivotal connector between medical and allied health teams to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care.
• Guide patients and their families on long-term management and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and participate in initiatives to improve clinical quality and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must hold current, unrestricted General Practitioner specialist registration with AHPRA.
• Possess FRACGP, FACRRM, or an equivalent internationally recognized qualification accepted in Australia.
• Demonstrate considerable clinical experience or advanced postgraduate training in general practice.
• Show proven capability to handle a busy caseload independently while ensuring patient safety.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills to build trust with patients and collaborate effectively within a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
• Be proficient with electronic medical record systems such as Best Practice or MedicalDirector.
