Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position for a General Practitioner at Chapman Family Medical Centre in Canberra. The role involves delivering holistic primary care services to a diverse patient population.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of FRACGP or an equivalent qualification.
• Solid clinical knowledge in Medicine and Primary Care, capable of managing a wide spectrum of health issues across all age groups.
• Background or training in Family Medicine and community health, emphasizing preventive care and management of chronic diseases.
• Familiarity with the roles of Nursing and allied health professionals to support collaborative, team-oriented patient care.
• Dedication to continuous professional education and adherence to prevailing clinical standards.
• Medical degree along with relevant specialist certification in General Practice or Family Medicine.
• Current medical registration with authorization to practice in Australia and appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, practicing inclusivity and respect with patients and colleagues alike.
• Capability to perform efficiently in a busy clinical setting, exhibiting sound clinical judgment, organization, and dependability.
