About the Role

International Medical Clinic serves the international community in Singapore with comprehensive family, pediatric, and travel medicine through four General Practice clinics. The organization emphasizes delivering consistent and compassionate medical care within a welcoming and familiar setting. The dedicated Children’s clinic focuses on health needs of children and adolescents. Our diverse team of medical professionals comes from North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia, enhancing the quality of patient care provided. We seek a General Practitioner experienced in private practice, comfortable treating patients across various nationalities and age groups, who possesses strong interpersonal abilities and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Family Medicine services in a General Practice environment, including acute, chronic, preventive, and continuous care.
• Offer holistic lifestyle guidance and preventive healthcare advice.
• Perform health screenings and patient health reviews.
• Conduct minor medical procedures and treatments appropriate to a family practice setting.
• Participate in health promotion and awareness programs targeting Singapore’s international expatriate community.

Requirements

• Fully Registered Family Physician status, ideally with supervisory experience or a minimum of five years post-qualification in Family Medicine.
• International General Practitioners holding qualifications recognized by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) for registration (basic or postgraduate qualifications).
• Experience in health screening procedures such as treadmill testing, audiology screening, and sports medicine is beneficial.
• Familiarity with minor surgical procedures, contraception device management, and minor dermatological treatments is preferred.
• Prior experience working in private healthcare or in an overseas clinical environment.
• Competence in managing patients of all age ranges.
• Multilingual proficiency is considered an advantage.
• Additional postgraduate qualifications enhancing general practice expertise will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
