Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated General Operative to join a prominent food manufacturing company in Wisbech. This position involves supporting the production line to guarantee efficient preparation and packing of high-quality food items.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Shift timing is from 07:00 to 19:00.
- Hourly pay rate is £12.96.
Candidate Requirements
- No prior experience is necessary, making this role suitable for beginners.
- Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
- Must be willing to work in a chilled environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately stacking boxes and labelling finished products.
- Packing products in line with customer requirements.
- Monitoring product quality continuously throughout the production process.
- Proper disposal of all food waste and general waste in accordance with safety standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness through a 'clean as you go' approach and encouraging adherence to safe working practices.
