Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional service by greeting customers, aiding product choices, promoting offerings, helping locate items, assisting in purchase decisions, and addressing or escalating customer issues.
• Ensure adequate coverage of designated sales areas and help at the Front End as needed, coordinating with fellow associates to maintain floor service levels.
• Maintain neat and organized sales zones, move featured products to set locations, and manage recovery merchandise including items from the Customer Service desk.
• Perform stocking duties, including restocking, downstocking, applying product protection, and setting up modular displays such as flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Follow company policies to keep a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment, complete safety sweep logs, and verify that displays and fixtures are secure.
• Exhibit flexibility by being open to varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, adapting to business requirements to support smooth store operations.

Challenges in the Role

• Handle a high volume of tasks in a rapid environment, managing overnight hours smartly to stay focused and energized.
• Manage workload efficiently to complete extensive restocking and recovery tasks precisely and on schedule.
• Meet physical demands such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting items up to 20 pounds regularly and sometimes up to 50 pounds.
• Carry out repetitive activities like stocking and zoning with consistent attention to detail to maintain store quality standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.
