Key Responsibilities

• Offer welcoming and professional assistance to customers by greeting them warmly, helping with product choices, promoting items and services, locating products, aiding purchase decisions, and addressing or escalating customer concerns as required.
• Maintain sales floor presence by covering assigned sections and stepping in to support the Front End area when necessary, ensuring seamless communication and coverage among team members to meet customer demands.
• Uphold merchandising standards through zoning assigned areas to keep the floor orderly and clean, relocating prominent merchandise to designated spots, and managing product recovery from Customer Service and other store parts.
• Handle stocking tasks including product placement, picking, downstocking, applying protective measures on products when needed, and executing modular setups, including flexible modulars and new shelf enhancements.
• Ensure a safe and clean workplace by adhering to all company policies, performing safety checks, and securing displays and fixtures to prevent hazards.
• Adapt to a flexible work schedule encompassing various shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays to support operational needs and consistent customer service delivery.

Challenges in the Role

• Effectively manage high volumes of tasks in a fast-moving retail environment, including overnight shifts, by organizing time to remain energized and focused.
• Perform physically demanding duties involving standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing activities with precision and persistence to maintain high store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $17.35.
