Position Overview
The General Manager at McDonald's is entrusted with overseeing the profitable operation of the restaurant, ensuring it consistently meets the company's rigorous standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role involves collaborating with leadership to establish clear restaurant objectives and formulating strategic plans to attain them.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Department Managers, supporting them in goal setting, monitoring progress, and delivering coaching to drive departmental improvements.
- Hire and nurture Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the restaurant's future success.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a General Manager in fast-paced, high-volume locations is preferred.
- Background in quick service restaurants is highly valued; experience in hospitality or retail sectors is also considered beneficial.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management roles in corporate-operated restaurants.
