Position Overview
This General Manager role is for a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, separate from McDonald’s USA. Employment decisions, staffing, and all operational management are handled solely by the franchisee. McDonald’s USA has no involvement in employment processes for this position.
About the Role
As a General Manager, your responsibility is to operate a profitable restaurant while upholding McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. You will collaborate with leadership to establish performance goals and create actionable plans to achieve them.
You will supervise a team of Department Managers, assisting them in goal-setting, tracking progress, and offering coaching and guidance to enhance their departmental efficiency, thereby improving overall restaurant performance. Hiring and training Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team may also be part of your duties.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates possess prior General Manager experience, preferably managing high-volume quick service restaurant locations or similar roles in hospitality or retail sectors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to hold a management position.
