Job Overview
This role is for a General Manager position at a McDonald's restaurant franchised by an independent business owner, separate from McDonald's USA corporate entity. The franchisee operates independently and handles all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, and scheduling. McDonald's USA has no involvement in these processes.
Role Description
As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a profitable restaurant location while ensuring adherence to McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Collaborating with senior leadership, you will set objectives for your restaurant and develop actionable plans to meet these targets.
Leadership and Team Management
You will lead a team of Department Managers, helping them set their department goals, monitor their progress, and provide mentorship and guidance to optimize performance. Additionally, you may manage hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers, building a strong leadership team for future growth.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing high-volume restaurant locations, preferably in quick-service food service environments, hospitality, or retail sectors. Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years old to qualify for a managerial position in corporate-owned McDonald's restaurants.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging between $50,000 and $65,000.
- Two weeks of paid vacation annually.
