Overview
This position is for a General Manager role at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and food products. Please note that the franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald's USA and independently manages all employment-related decisions including hiring, discipline, and staffing.
Role Summary
The General Manager is accountable for operating a profitable restaurant that consistently meets McDonald's high standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership-focused role involves collaborating with senior leaders to establish and execute objectives aimed at achieving restaurant success.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and support Department Managers, helping them set goals, monitoring department performance, and providing coaching to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead recruitment and development of Department and Shift Managers to ensure a skilled leadership team for the future.
- Foster a team environment committed to delivering excellent customer experiences and efficient restaurant operations.
Candidate Profile
- Preferred experience includes previous General Manager roles at high-traffic quick service restaurants or related industries such as hospitality or retail.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for managerial positions in corporate-owned restaurants.
