About the Opportunity
This role is within a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, licensed to use McDonald's branding and products but functioning as a distinct company from McDonald's USA. Employment arrangements, including recruitment and management, are handled solely by the franchisee without McDonald's USA involvement.
Role Overview
The General Manager is tasked with operating a profitable restaurant while upholding McDonald's high standards in quality, customer service, and cleanliness. Collaborating with leadership, the manager sets and executes goals to continuously improve restaurant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Department Managers by supporting goal-setting, monitoring progress, and delivering coaching to enhance departmental results.
- Manage recruitment and development of Department and Shift Managers to ensure a strong leadership team.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Candidate Profile
Successful applicants typically have prior experience as General Managers in busy environments, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for managerial roles in corporate restaurants.
