About the Role
This position is offered by a locally owned McDonald's franchise, distinct from McDonald's USA, which means the hiring and employment process is managed solely by the franchisee entity. McDonald's USA holds the licensing rights for branding and food but is not involved in employment decisions or candidate evaluation.
Position Summary
The General Manager leads the full operation of a busy McDonald's restaurant striving for profitability and adherence to McDonald's top standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role requires collaboration with leadership to establish actionable goals and plans for the restaurant's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Department Managers by assisting them in setting and achieving objectives, offering consistent coaching and feedback to enhance departmental performance.
- Oversee hiring and professional growth of Department and Shift Managers, ensuring a capable leadership team for sustainable restaurant success.
- Manage daily operations to maintain high standards and profitability.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience as a General Manager, particularly in high-volume outlets, is preferred.
- Background in quick service restaurants highly favored; hospitality or retail experience is beneficial.
- Must be aged 18 or older to qualify for a managerial role.
