About the Role
This position is employed by an independent franchisee who operates a McDonald's restaurant under license; McDonald's USA is not the employer and has no involvement in employment decisions. The General Manager supervises a high-volume quick service restaurant, ensuring it meets McDonald's high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
The General Manager leads the restaurant to profitability by setting goals alongside leadership and creating strategies to achieve them. They oversee and coach Department Managers to meet department and restaurant objectives and often handle hiring and developing managerial staff such as Department and Shift Managers to build a competent leadership team.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants have prior experience managing large-scale quick service restaurants or have a background in hospitality or retail. Management candidates must be at least 18 years old.
