General Manager

About the Role

This position is with an independently owned McDonald’s franchise, separate from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee operates the restaurant and handles all employment matters including hiring and supervision.

This General Manager role is about leading a high-volume restaurant to profitability while upholding McDonald’s high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. Working closely with the leadership, you will establish and pursue restaurant goals.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of Department Managers by helping them set objectives, monitoring progress, and coaching to improve their departments, thus enhancing overall restaurant performance. You may also be tasked with hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team.

Candidate Profile

Ideal applicants have prior experience as a General Manager in fast-paced quick service restaurants or possess relevant expertise in hospitality or retail. Applicants must be 18 years or older to qualify for this management role in corporate restaurants.
