Position Overview
This opportunity is with a restaurant independently owned and operated by a franchisee licensed to use the McDonald’s brand and products. The franchisee is the sole employer responsible for all employment-related matters including hiring, firing, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA does not influence employment decisions or receive applicant data.
Job Summary
The General Manager role is pivotal in overseeing a profitable restaurant that consistently meets McDonald’s high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Collaborating closely with leadership, the General Manager establishes restaurant goals and formulates strategic action plans to reach them.
Key Responsibilities
Leading a team of Assistant Managers who manage department-specific tasks, the General Manager supports their goal-setting efforts, monitors progress, and provides coaching to enhance department performance and overall restaurant success. Additionally, the role includes recruiting and developing Assistant and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the future.
Work Requirements
The role demands full-time commitment with flexible availability around the clock (24/7). Candidates should bring prior General Manager experience in quick service restaurant environments and must be at least 18 years old.
