Job description

About the Role

This position is with an independently operated franchise of a major fast-food brand, licensed to use the brand's logos and menu items but functioning as a separate employer. Employment decisions, staffing, supervision, and disciplinary actions are governed solely by the franchisee, without involvement from the brand's corporate entity.

This role offers the chance to build a rewarding career with access to meaningful benefits and opportunities for growth. It encourages pursuing personal development, flexible scheduling, and leadership skill enhancement while contributing to a high-performing team focused on delivering quality food and customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure the restaurant achieves profitability while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define restaurant objectives and develop actionable plans to meet these goals.
  • Lead and mentor Department Managers by assisting in setting departmental goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching to enhance performance.
  • Recruit and train Department and Shift Managers to build a competent management team for continued success.

Candidate Requirements

  • Prior experience as a General Manager managing high-volume locations is highly preferred.
  • Background in quick service restaurants is strongly favored; experience in hospitality or retail sectors is also valuable.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a management position under corporate restaurant standards.

Employee Benefits

  • Generous paid time off ranging from 15 to 25 vacation days annually.
  • Ten paid holidays, anniversary bonuses, and an 8-week sabbatical every decade.
  • Educational programs including opportunities to earn a high school diploma, college tuition assistance, and ESL courses.
  • Comprehensive health benefits covering medical, dental, and vision care.
  • Flexible spending accounts for pre-tax contributions.
  • Insurance options such as short and long-term disability, life, and accident coverage.
  • Paid leaves of absence and service recognition awards.
  • Employee resource networks and support programs including adoption assistance and matching gifts.

Additional Notes

The job description outlines a broad overview of responsibilities but does not capture every daily task or essential function. Applicants acknowledge that employment and privacy matters are handled directly by the franchisee, with the brand corporate office uninvolved in hiring decisions or employee management.
