About the Role
This opportunity is with a restaurant run by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and menu products. The franchisee operates as a separate business entity from McDonald’s USA and will be your employer. McDonald’s USA does not influence any personnel decisions for this location.
Job Overview
The General Manager holds responsibility for ensuring the restaurant operates profitably while upholding McDonald’s high standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role involves leadership in setting business objectives and crafting strategies alongside senior leadership to meet those goals.
Leadership Responsibilities
The General Manager leads a management team including Assistant Managers and Shift Managers. They support these leaders by helping them establish and follow through on department goals, providing guidance, coaching, and managing performance to boost operations throughout the restaurant.
Team Development
The role includes recruiting, developing, and mentoring Department and Shift Managers to ensure a strong leadership pipeline for future operations.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants will have prior General Manager experience managing high volume restaurants, preferably within the quick service restaurant sector, hospitality, or retail environments. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to hold this management position.
