General Manager

Role Overview

The General Manager will be tasked with supervising daily company functions, guiding teams, managing resources, and steering the organization towards enhanced performance, profitability, and sustained growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute business strategies, plans, and operational goals.
• Manage daily operations spanning various departments and business units.
• Establish performance goals, key performance indicators, budgets, and operational criteria.
• Lead and develop department leaders and staff members.
• Track revenues, profits, expenses, productivity, and overall results.
• Discover new avenues for growth, expansion, and process enhancements.
• Oversee budgeting, expenditures, resources, and cost management efforts.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, human resources, operations, procurement, and other divisions.
• Supervise relationships with major clients, vendors, partners, and other external parties.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality and safety protocols.
• Identify operational risks and address business challenges efficiently.
• Monitor client satisfaction, service standards, and operational benchmarks.
• Compile management reports, forecasts, and status updates.
• Assist in strategic decision-making and support major business projects.
• Enhance operational productivity, workforce performance, and promote sustainable growth.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Operations, or related disciplines.
• Extensive experience in general management or senior leadership roles.
• Thorough knowledge of business operations, financial oversight, and strategic planning.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and handle cross-functional operations.
• Strong commercial insight, analytical aptitude, and problem resolution skills.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Background in business development, sales, or managing customer relationships.
• Competent with Microsoft Office, ERP platforms, CRM tools, or other business management software.
• Solid understanding of performance evaluation, budgeting, and cost control techniques.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and making sound business decisions.
• Experience within the UAE or GCC business environment is a plus.
