Overview
This opportunity is with an independently owned franchisee operating a McDonald’s restaurant under license, separate and distinct from McDonald’s USA. Employment matters such as hiring, firing, and scheduling are solely managed by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. Applications and employment decisions are handled exclusively by the franchisee.
Salary and Benefits
The position offers an annual compensation ranging between $55,000 and $68,000. Role Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful and profitable operation of the restaurant ensuring adherence to McDonald’s stringent standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with leadership to define the restaurant’s strategic goals and develop action plans to meet them.
- Lead and mentor Department Managers by setting departmental targets, monitoring outcomes, and coaching for continuous improvement.
- Manage hiring, developing, and retaining Department and Shift Managers to build a capable future leadership team.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Previous experience as a General Manager operating high-volume fast food locations is essential.
- Background in quick service restaurants is highly preferred; experience in hospitality or retail sectors is also valued.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old due to management position requirements within corporate-owned restaurants.
