About the Role

This position is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent McDonald’s franchisee, separate from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald’s logos and products, but operates independently. Employment matters such as hiring, firing, supervision, and scheduling are solely managed by the franchisee. Please note, McDonald’s USA has no involvement in employment decisions for this role.

Role Overview

The General Manager leads the operation of a profitable restaurant, ensuring adherence to McDonald’s stringent Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards. Collaborating closely with leadership, the General Manager sets and executes strategies to meet restaurant goals.

Team Leadership

The manager oversees Department Managers, assisting them in goal setting, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to enhance their departments. Effective department performance drives the overall success of the restaurant. Additionally, the General Manager may be tasked with recruiting and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Ideal applicants have proven General Manager experience in high-volume settings, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. Candidates must be 18 years or older to hold a management role in corporate-operated restaurants.
