Role Overview

The position of BIM – Revit Manager Coordinator is a full-time, onsite role located in Uganda. This role entails overseeing BIM workflows and managing Revit-based production for multidisciplinary design and construction initiatives. Core responsibilities encompass managing and coordinating BIM models to align architectural and MEP disciplines, maintaining standards, templates, and project-specific BIM execution strategies. The coordinator will assist project teams by establishing models, scrutinizing clash detection reports, resolving coordination challenges, and providing guidance on virtual design best practices.

Key Responsibilities and Daily Tasks

• Manage BIM models ensuring alignment across architecture, MEP, and structural disciplines.
• Maintain BIM standards, templates, and customize execution plans for projects.
• Set up BIM models and review clash detection outcomes to resolve conflicts.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors for project coordination.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within BIM models and associated documentation.
• Deliver training and technical support on Revit and other BIM tools to team members.
• Prepare coordinated drawings, schedules, and project documentation for delivery.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive expertise in Building Information Modeling and BIM coordination across multiple disciplines.
• Experience in virtual design workflows including model collaboration and clash detection.
• Educational background in Architecture or related design fields with understanding of construction systems and drawing standards.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination within BIM and integration with architectural and structural models.
• Proficient in Revit and related BIM software, including model management and project setup.
• Capability to develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and quality control measures.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in model data and documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams onsite.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Prior experience in BIM management or coordination, preferably in complex and international projects.
