About the Role
This opportunity is with a restaurant owned and managed by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. Employment and all related matters such as hiring and scheduling are handled solely by the franchisee, not McDonald's USA.
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing a profitable restaurant, ensuring it meets McDonald's high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. This role involves goal-setting in partnership with leadership and driving the team to meet those targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Department Managers by setting departmental goals, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and coaching.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining McDonald's critical standards.
- Recruit and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Collaborate with leadership to create and execute strategies for business growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a General Manager overseeing high-volume locations.
- Experience in quick service restaurants preferred; hospitality or retail backgrounds also considered.
- Must be at least 18 years old for managerial eligibility.
