About the Role

This position is for a restaurant managed by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. The franchisee operates as a separate company and employer, independent from McDonald's USA. Employment-related decisions such as hiring, supervision, and discipline are solely managed by the franchisee.

McDonald’s offers a career path with excellent benefits, opportunities to grow, and flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. As a General Manager, you’ll lead a team towards achieving business goals while ensuring McDonald's high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

The General Manager is tasked with driving the restaurant's profitability and maintaining critical customer experience standards. This includes setting clear objectives for the restaurant, developing strategies to meet goals, and supervising Department Managers. Supporting Department Managers to establish their goals, monitor progress, coach, and guide improvements are essential duties. Additionally, the General Manager may be responsible for recruiting and mentoring Shift and Department Managers to build a strong leadership team.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Manager at high-volume restaurant locations.
  • Preferred background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors.
  • Must be at least 18 years old, compliant with managerial requirements in corporate-operated restaurants.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary up to $65,000 per year.
  • Access to education and development programs such as Archways to Opportunity, which includes high school completion, college tuition aid, and ESL classes.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Short and long-term disability benefits and optional life insurance.
  • Paid time off and service recognition awards.
  • Employee resource groups and community connections.
