Role Overview
The General Manager holds accountability for managing a profitable restaurant while upholding McDonald’s stringent customer standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. This leadership position involves collaborating closely with departmental leaders to establish and strive for the restaurant's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The General Manager works alongside Department Managers, guiding them to define goals, monitoring their achievement, and delivering coaching and support to enhance departmental operations. This collective leadership fosters overall restaurant success. Additionally, the General Manager may oversee the recruitment and development of Department and Shift Managers to ensure a strong leadership team for future growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Prospective candidates should bring prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume locations, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management positions in company-operated restaurants.
