About the Role
This position is with an independently owned McDonald's franchise located in Columbus, OH. The franchisee operates under license from McDonald's USA but is an entirely separate entity responsible for all employment decisions such as hiring, supervision, scheduling, and discipline. McDonald's USA holds no responsibility over employment matters or applicant information.
This General Manager role demands leadership to run a successful, high-volume quick service restaurant while upholding McDonald's strict standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager will collaborate with leadership to define targets and create plans for meeting these objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Department Managers by setting goals, monitoring progress, and offering coaching to enhance each department's performance.
- Manage the overall operations of the restaurant to ensure profitability and adherence to brand standards.
- Recruit, develop, and retain Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience as a General Manager, ideally in high-volume quick service restaurant environments.
- Preferably background in hospitality or retail industries.
- Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management roles in corporate-operated McDonald's locations.
