About the Role
This opportunity is at a restaurant operated independently under a franchise license of McDonald's. The franchisee, not McDonald's USA, is your direct employer and handles all employment-related decisions including hiring, supervision, and scheduling.
The General Manager position entails overseeing a profitable restaurant ensuring it meets McDonald's high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. This managerial role involves goal setting in collaboration with leadership and strategizing to meet those objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, guiding them to set and accomplish departmental goals, monitoring progress, and offering coaching to enhance overall restaurant operations. This role may also involve recruiting and developing Department and Shift Managers to sustain a capable leadership team.
Candidate Profile
Successful candidates typically have prior experience as General Managers managing busy locations, preferably in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 annually.
