General Manager

About the Role

This General Manager position is for a restaurant run by an independent franchisee licensed to use the McDonald's brand and products, but separate from McDonald's USA corporate entity. Employment, hiring, and management decisions are solely the responsibility of the franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The General Manager will oversee restaurant operations to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness, contributing to a profitable and well-functioning restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, collaborating with leadership to set and meet restaurant goals. Responsibilities include coaching Department Managers, monitoring progress, and supporting staffing needs by hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure a capable management team is in place.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates bring experience managing high-volume restaurant locations, particularly within quick-service, hospitality, or retail environments. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to hold a management position.
