Job Overview
This position is with an independently owned and operated McDonald’s franchise, not directly by McDonald’s USA. The franchise owner is solely responsible for all employment-related decisions including hiring, firing, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA does not partake in any employment processes or decisions for this location.
About the Role
The General Manager is accountable for managing a profitable restaurant and ensuring it adheres to McDonald’s high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. You will collaborate with leadership to establish restaurant goals and develop strategies to attain them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Department Managers by helping them establish goals and providing coaching and support.
- Oversee performance and improvement initiatives across restaurant departments to enhance overall operations.
- Possibly hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a robust leadership team capable of driving future success.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume quick service restaurants is strongly preferred.
- Background in hospitality or retail is also relevant.
- Must be at least 18 years old to be employed as a manager in corporate-owned restaurants.
