Job Overview
This opportunity is with an independently operated restaurant franchise licensed to use McDonald’s branding and products, separate from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee handles all employment matters including hiring, firing, and scheduling, independent of McDonald’s USA involvement.
About the Role
The General Manager position is ideal for someone seeking a rewarding career with advancement potential, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to build skills and pursue education. This role requires leading a team to deliver excellent quality, service, and cleanliness standards in a high-volume restaurant.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage overall restaurant profitability and maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with leadership to set and achieve restaurant goals through effective planning.
- Lead and develop Department Managers by setting departmental objectives, monitoring progress, and providing coaching for improvement.
- Hire and nurture Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates possess prior experience as General Manager overseeing busy quick service restaurant locations, with backgrounds preferably in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. Must be at least 18 years old to manage corporate-owned restaurant operations.
