About the Role
Join our team as a General Labourer in Brisbane, where you will support tasks such as disassembling and reassembling office and hotel furniture, handling warehouse operations, loading and unloading trucks, and occasionally driving small hire trucks. Work hours are Monday through Friday with early shifts starting at 7:00 AM, and flexible scheduling options are available. Immediate start opportunities exist.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labour and warehouse duties
- Dismantle and reconstruct office and hotel furniture
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
- Handle furniture movement while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse surroundings
- Operate small hire trucks as required
- Engage in shift work beginning at 7:00 AM
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Mandatory possession of a valid White Card
- Open Queensland Driver Licence enabling operation of small trucks
- Experience in furniture loading and transportation is an asset
- Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor settings
- Physically capable of lifting items up to 20kg
- Pass a pre-employment functional assessment plus drug and alcohol screening
- Willingness to work flexible shifts when necessary
- Consistent, reliable, and punctual work discipline
