Job Summary
As the General Manager at a Domino's location, you will oversee all operational aspects including equipment use, inventory, order processing, and customer service. This role requires managing daily tasks, maintaining quality standards, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate restaurant equipment and manage stock from delivery and storage areas including walk-in coolers.
- Prepare menu items and handle telephone orders with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct inventory counts and ensure associated paperwork is completed accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the facility on a daily basis.
- Deliver products, flyers, and marketing materials by car and on foot within designated delivery areas.
- Ensure safe driving practices and valid licensing are maintained for delivery tasks.
Training and Communication
- Participate in on-the-job orientation and training programs.
- Effectively understand and communicate written instructions and verbal messages with coworkers and customers.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; comfort using a calculator.
- Capability to make accurate monetary change.
- Keyboard or touchscreen proficiency for order entry.
- Strong motor coordination for quick and precise movements in food preparation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Exposure to varying temperatures from 36°F in coolers to over 90°F in some areas.
- Handling fumes, food odors, dust, hot surfaces (up to 500°F), sharp edges, and machinery parts.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking short distances repeatedly, occasional climbing stairs or ladders, bending, squatting, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying heavy items including large cans and trays of dough, pushing and pulling dollies.
- Use eye-hand coordination for assembly, handling utensils, phones, and boxes.
- Navigate adverse weather conditions when moving trash, delivering products, or outdoors work.

- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Competent in handling work under stress while maintaining quality control standards.
- Good judgment, decision-making skills, and data analysis abilities.
Job Specific Requirements for Delivery
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record as per company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle suitable for product delivery.
- Strong navigation skills to locate customer addresses within the delivery zone, able to handle multiple environments including multi-story buildings and private homes.
Physical Requirements for Delivery Personnel
- Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking or climbing several flights of stairs during deliveries.
- Drive to various locations within the designated delivery area incrementally during shifts.
- Walk between store, vehicle, and delivery points multiple times.
- Regular climbing of five or more flights of stairs may be necessary.
