Job description
Job Overview
The General Labourer role involves maintaining the cleanliness and good condition of the facility and its surroundings, performing light repairs, and supporting grounds upkeep. This includes routine indoor and outdoor maintenance activities, season-specific landscaping duties, and keeping tools and work areas neat and orderly.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular building upkeep and minor repairs both inside and outside the premises
- Support grounds care operations such as lawn maintenance and snow removal with salting
- Assist in relocating furniture, equipment, and materials as needed
- Keep maintenance zones and equipment organized and clean
- Empty waste receptacles on a consistent basis
- Work alongside maintenance personnel on various projects and repair tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Candidate Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma
- Prior experience in general labour, maintenance work, landscaping, or construction is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Physical ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license with a personal vehicle for reliable travel
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and keen attention to detail
