Job Summary

The individual hired for this role will be tasked with performing sorting and inspection operations within a manufacturing setting. The role involves repetitive physical tasks and intermittent heavy lifting, necessitating adherence to safety protocols and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct sorting and inspection duties with meticulous accuracy.
• Examine products and materials ensuring compliance with workplace standards.
• Keep precise records and documentation of inspection results.
• Follow both written and verbal instructions carefully.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace environment at all times.
• Perform repetitive tasks as assigned.
• Occasionally lift heavy items safely when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and visual acuity.
• Competency in maintaining documentation.
• Proficiency in understanding spoken and written English.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks without loss of focus.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects occasionally.
• Willingness and ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Personal Protective Equipment and Dress Code

• Mandatory use of six-inch safety boots.
• Use of safety glasses at all times on the floor.
• Wearing a long-sleeve shirt as part of attire.
• Bump cap compatible with other PPE is required.
• Pants must cover ankles – jogging pants, track pants, or skinny jeans are prohibited.
• Jewellery is not allowed within the work area.
