Position Overview

We are hiring General Production team members who will be instrumental in ensuring safe and high-quality food products. This role involves essential production duties that support both team members and operational standards. Employees play a key part in maintaining a positive work environment and efficient production processes to deliver quality products nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, knives, machinery, and other equipment to process meat products
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met during production
• Work cooperatively with coworkers to support production line efficiency
• Maintain attention to detail while performing physically demanding tasks
• Be prepared to work scheduled shifts, including potential overtime based on demand

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Perform continuous and repetitive movements requiring hand dexterity
• Stand on concrete or elevated platforms for up to 12 hours per shift
• Work around animal blood, carcass parts, strong odors, and in both cold (20-40°F) and warm (over 100°F) environments
• Use personal protective equipment including hard hats, hearing and eye protection, and steel-toed boots
• Handle cleaning chemicals and operate within noisy and wet/humid areas
• Climb stairs, ladders, and navigate walkways and platforms
• Engage in bending, stooping, twisting, and walking long distances throughout shifts
• Lift objects up to 30 lbs repetitively overhead and occasionally up to 60 lbs, sometimes using mechanical assistance
• Some roles may require certification to operate specific equipment
