Role Overview

As a General Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all site construction operations across civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical sectors. The role involves ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in project execution while leading field teams and coordinating subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities involving civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.
  • Implement construction work adhering strictly to IREN's standards, project specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Organize daily schedules including equipment allocation and material management.
  • Lead and guide field crews, promoting a safety-conscious and accountable work environment.
  • Manage subcontractors to achieve quality outputs and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the construction Superintendent for effective site management.
  • Promote and uphold IREN’s safety culture through toolbox talks and regular safety inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Between 8 to 10 years of construction experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a foreman or supervisory position.
  • Preferably experienced in data centers, industrial facilities, or mission-critical infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems such as power supply, backup generators, and cooling systems.
  • Proficient in reading and applying construction drawings.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in fast-paced construction settings.
  • Excellent communication and documentation proficiency.
  • Firm commitment to a safety-first mindset and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and adaptable to shifting project priorities and conditions.
  • Availability to work a rotational shift schedule of two weeks on followed by one week off.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The hourly wage ranges from $45 to $60, dependent on experience.
  • Additional pay may include a night shift premium for rotational shifts.
