Role Overview
The General Dentist will be responsible for offering comprehensive dental care encompassing diagnosis, treatment planning, and the execution of preventive and restorative procedures. Daily responsibilities include conducting oral examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, performing fillings, extractions, root canal therapies, scaling, polishing, and other routine dental interventions. Educating patients on oral hygiene, discussing treatment options, maintaining precise records, and strictly complying with infection control and clinical safety measures are crucial parts of the role. Working collaboratively with clinical and support staff aims to ensure seamless patient experiences and effective follow-up treatment. This position is full-time and located onsite in Jaipur.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated clinical competency in diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivering routine and complex dental treatments.
- Strong knowledge of dental radiology, oral pathology, and preventive dentistry for comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient care.
- Effective patient communication and counseling skills, including the ability to clearly explain procedures, manage patient expectations, and alleviate anxiety.
- Ability to maintain accurate treatment records, manage scheduling, and coordinate clinic workflows with support staff efficiently.
- Thorough understanding and adherence to infection control standards, sterilization practices, and safety protocols.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized institution and valid registration with the relevant dental council.
- Preferred previous experience as a General Dentist in clinical or hospital environments; however, recent graduates with solid clinical training are also considered.
- Commitment to full-time onsite work in Jaipur, reliability, and collaboration within a respectful workplace culture.
