Role Overview
Civeo Premium Services Employees LP seeks dedicated General Camp Services Workers to join the team at Tse Zul Camp in Faro, Yukon. This role demands versatility and hands-on support across food service, cleaning, and general camp maintenance to ensure a smooth operation and a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep kitchen, dining, dishwashing, and waste areas clean, sanitized, and well organized, following food safety standards.
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and glassware, ensuring everything is properly stored.
- Assist food service by replenishing beverages, desserts, condiments, and related supplies.
- Manage receipt, storage, and rotation of food and supplies using FIFO methods; support inventory tracking.
- Handle waste removal duties, maintain garbage and recycling zones, and report hazards or issues to supervisors.
- Adhere to company health, safety, sanitation, and procedural protocols to foster a secure and efficient workplace.
- Complete additional tasks as needed to support kitchen, dining, and overall camp functions.
Qualifications
- Experience in kitchens, food service, hospitality, or camp settings is required; familiarity with large industrial dishwashers is advantageous.
- Valid Food Safety certification must be held and maintained throughout employment.
- First Aid certification is considered a plus.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and time management in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs and perform demanding tasks involving standing, walking, and bending for prolonged periods.
- Successful completion of a pre-access Drug and Alcohol test is mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay at $20.25.
- Scheduled 10-hour shifts with a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation, promoting work-life balance.
- Estimated gross monthly earnings up to $3200 before deductions, depending on hours worked.
- Paid travel from Edmonton (YEG), Calgary (YYC), and Vancouver (YVR) provided.
