Position Overview

Wynn Al Marjan Island invites candidates for the role of General Assistant within the Wynn Oasis team, supporting various maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technicians to perform simple repairs such as tile replacement, door adjustments, tightening fixtures, and basic plumbing tasks.
• Assist electrical teams in changing lights, sockets, and switches under guidance.
• Support HVAC teams by cleaning filters, washing coils, and conducting elementary servicing duties.
• Handle minor painting, patching, and carpentry jobs as assigned.
• Prepare access and set up safety measures to assist with facade cleaning operations.
• Maintain cleanliness in external areas, service corridors, and technical rooms.
• Ensure upkeep of maintenance zones including pump rooms, rooftops, and service yards.
• Participate in seasonal and comprehensive deep cleaning efforts throughout facilities.
• Organize tools, consumables, and spare parts within maintenance storerooms.
• Assist with moving materials and equipment across different buildings and work locations.
• Take direction from the Principal Building Technician and execute daily assigned tasks.
• Work cooperatively with other departments to finalize joint assignments and address urgent needs.
• Be flexible to be deployed in various zones depending on operational requirements.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow permit-to-work procedures.
• Attend toolbox talks and basic safety training sessions regularly.

Candidate Profile

• Possess foundational understanding of building maintenance tools and methods.
• Preferably have 1–2 years of experience in a comparable capacity within residential or hospitality sectors.
• Ability to follow instructions reliably and operate under supervision.
• Physically capable of handling manual labor in diverse conditions.
• Demonstrate a positive mindset, dependability, and eagerness to learn.
