Overview
This role involves supporting and managing online gaming tournaments and esports activities. The Coordinator will engage with players, organizers, and the gaming community to ensure smooth event execution and platform enhancement.
Key Duties
- Assist in the organization and coordination of online fighting game tournaments on the platform.
- Serve as a point of contact by communicating with players, tournament staff, and gaming communities.
- Collect feedback from participants to help improve platform features and user experience.
- Conduct research on emerging fighting games, tournaments, and trends in the esports scene.
- Support testing activities for new platform functionalities prior to launch.
Candidate Profile
- Strong enthusiasm for fighting games and the esports ecosystem.
- Good familiarity with titles like Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Guilty Gear, or similar fighting games.
- Experience participating in or following competitive tournaments, whether online, local, or community-based.
- Comfortable interacting with new contacts via online channels.
- Knowledgeable in the use of Discord and social media platforms for communication.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
- Exemplifies a positive mindset and eagerness to acquire new skills.
Working Hours and Compensation
This is a part-time position, working a 4-hour shift aligned with US time zones. The salary range offered is between 18,000 and 20,000 INR monthly.
