Role Purpose
The Crew Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the mobilization process of seafarers from specific nationalities. This includes collaboration with training centers and medical providers and active communication with seafarers during their mobilization phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely handling of visa and boarding formalities for incoming crew members.
- Verify and confirm the authenticity and completeness of all pre-joining documentation as per required standards.
- Oversee all pre-joining preparations for crew, including certification validation, scheduling courses and tests, and arranging medical examinations.
- Maintain regular contact with personnel during leave periods and mobilization stages.
- Manage all training enrolments efficiently.
- Keep precise and up-to-date records in ShipSure Crewing system and upload necessary documents when required.
- Handle application procedures for flag state documents and enforce control measures.
- Provide administrative support to other Crew Cell team members.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Crew Supply Manager to ensure smooth office operations.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor’s/College Degree in any discipline.
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet use.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to engage with individuals across various levels.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of cultural diversity and awareness.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines reliably.
Desirable Experience
- Relevant experience in similar roles within Subsea, Marine, or Offshore Construction sectors is preferred.
