Role Overview

We seek a Forward Deploy Engineer with a minimum of 10 years’ fullstack experience in Java, React, and AI, to embed deeply within client teams. This role combines expert hands-on development with direct client interaction, acting as a trusted technical representative. Responsibilities include writing production code, devising solutions, and fostering strong technical relationships within client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Work onsite within client organizations delivering Java, React, and AI engineering collaboration.
• Design and build scalable Java microservices and RESTful APIs leveraging Spring Boot with clean architecture and SOLID principles.
• Create responsive, high-performance React.js frontends using TypeScript, Redux, and modern JavaScript to ensure superior user interfaces.
• Develop and incorporate AI and generative AI solutions such as retrieval augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, large language model integrations, agentic workflows, and AI-enhanced application features.
• Manage full lifecycle feature development including backend, frontend, and AI components from architecture to deployment.
• Interface as the chief technical liaison with client stakeholders including engineering leads, architects, and CTOs with authoritative communication.
• Identify client technical issues swiftly and deliver prototypes and solutions that offer clear business benefits.
• Conduct architectural assessments and provide actionable guidance consistent with client technology strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to relay client feedback for ongoing product and AI use case development.
• Mentor client-side development teams through pair programming and knowledge transfers focusing on Java, React, and AI best practices.

Candidate Profile

• Over 10 years of professional fullstack engineering experience encompassing Java backend, React frontend, and AI/generative AI deployment in active production settings.
• Advanced Java skills including frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA, and microservice architectural patterns.
• Expertise in React.js with proficiency in TypeScript, Redux or Context API for state management, and REST API consumption in extensive enterprise applications.
• Substantial practical knowledge in AI/GenAI implementations, including large language model integrations, RAG system design, prompt engineering, and building agentic workflows using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure platforms, including containerization with Docker, orchestration via Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline operations.
• Outstanding communication capability and experience engaging senior technical executives and diverse stakeholders confidently and persuasively.
• Proven capacity to quickly analyze multifaceted client system landscapes, pinpoint technical challenges, and deliver effective, timely solutions.
• Background in client-focused or consultancy engineering roles, thriving in dynamic, complex, and high-profile project environments.
• Strong architectural and system design expertise in distributed and event-driven systems, prioritizing API-first development approaches.
• Excellent skills in articulating technical ideas through documentation, proposals, architecture briefs, and client-facing presentations.
