Python Developer

About the Role

We are in search of skilled Python Developers located in Singapore to enhance our expanding engineering team. The position involves developing large-scale enterprise solutions within a collaborative setting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and related services
• Operate and manage deployments on Kubernetes clusters
• Create monitoring and observability solutions utilizing Grafana, Prometheus, and similar tools
• Build and uphold CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery processes
• Automate operational workflows and enhance platform dependability
• Collaborate closely with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams in an Agile workflow

Required Experience and Skills

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Python programming
• Proven expertise working with Kubernetes
• Skills with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus, including logging and metrics management
• Experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, and Git
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting
• Shell scripting and automation capabilities
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration technologies
• Prior experience within Agile development teams

Additional Advantages

• Exposure to Ansible configuration management and Splunk or SIEM systems
• Knowledge of public cloud environments
• Understanding of OAuth, JWT, networking concepts, proxy, and authentication mechanisms
