Job description

Overview

As a Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe's, you act as a vital link between Merchandising and Store Operations to ensure an excellent shopping experience. The role involves creating attractive product displays, maintaining accurate signage and pricing, and implementing merchandising strategies that highlight popular items.

Key Duties

  • Complete merchandising resets and service projects aligned with company standards and provide evidence of completion
  • Prepare buyback items by verifying and prepping for shipment
  • Maintain and update wayfinding signage and product location information, including digital records
  • Ensure product pricing is visibly clear and replace any missing price tags
  • Arrange clearance products to boost add-on sales and organize displays strategically throughout the store
  • Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays
  • Communicate scheduling and project priorities with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager
  • Analyze performance metrics and offer feedback on project execution and in-store service to leadership at various levels
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include literacy and numeracy skills sufficient for basic tasks, the ability to hear and communicate effectively, competency using web-based computer applications, physical ability to sit and stand for extended periods, and the capability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted or more with accommodations.

Preferred candidates have experience in Lowe's sales floor operations, merchandising including reading planograms and managing displays, operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers, and familiarity with common tools like hand tools, drills, and saws.

Work Environment and Conditions

Work takes place in both indoor and outdoor settings and may involve exposure to a range of environmental conditions such as extreme temperatures, humidity, and noise. Manual handling requires adherence to lifting guidelines, using team lifts for heavy items and powered equipment when necessary and properly trained.
