Full-Time Food Service Worker

About the Role

Eurest is currently seeking a dedicated full-time Food Service Worker based at J&J - 655 Ethicon Circle, Cornelia, GA 30531. This position involves preparing, presenting, and serving food while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm, with additional details discussed during the interview process. Applicants must have a minimum of three years experience in a kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct food preparation tasks including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately.
• Safely transport food items between stations, ovens, and refrigerators.
• Properly store food following food safety protocols including wrapping, dating, and rotating stock.
• Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, tools, and equipment.
• Distribute necessary supplies and utensils as needed.
• Follow recipe and production standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Provide customer service in a friendly and efficient manner adhering to service steps.
• Address customer concerns and communicate relevant information to supervisors.
• Maintain compliance with company policies regarding service standards, inventory, cash control, sanitation, and safety.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least three years of prior experience working in kitchen or food preparation roles.
• Ability to fulfill the essential duties of the role effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $17.50 to $18.50.
